There is a lot of information regarding this subject and there seems to be a similar pattern to people's experience's.
when we approach death, loved ones or guides step forward and take us into the next life.
I had a OBE once and can remember waking up surrounded by feelings of love and peace. I did not see anything initially until I opened my eyes and saw little spirit lights just fade away.
I feel privileged to have had the experience and I now have no fear or anxiety about my own physical demise.

The state of one's individual development and understanding of the process at the time of transition seem to have a major influence. One need only look at how many people were met by Jesus in America and how many people were met by the Hindu (or maybe it was some other cultural deity) god of death in India upon passing.

Interesting Papa B, so I suppose our consciousness and belief system influences our transition into the next life. I wonder how far those influences go. I wonder if a person can literally create their own heaven or hell?

I think you are right Papa( unusual name )(:- The more evolved,( for want of a better word)and spiritually aware this side of life.. the easier our transition is, as we have been told here in seances...makes sense huh? confusion and fear and doubt less I imagine...I feel so priveledged to have this knowledge now , its an honour to be part of the great dimensional shift thats occuring as well. From my understanding people can and often do create their own heaven and hell, though many times this would be a result of prior conditioning. Andrew Jackson Davis has noted that humans who transition are human still, and that they carry their own preconceived notions with them. He knows of a man, for instance, that is still a follower of Muhammad. Those who have transitioned with understanding of where they are going have a greater capability of creating their dwelling places. The Mind has no limits, and God doesn't limit us. If one were of an appropriate level of vibration then one could even, if they so desired, create a carbon copy of Earth and spend their time reminiscing their previous lives or inflicting spiritual amnesia on oneself and trying something different. |

Bright Blessings. Su. Yes, it is a great comfort to have this knowledge and have it validated through many sources, whether they be near death experiences or displays of proper mediumship. As for my display name, I called my great grandfather Papa G. I am a father myself now, and will eventually use Papa B out of love of him and hope he doesn't take offense. |
